H5OS is a dynamic, scalable operating systems software / service platform based on open standard web technologies, that leverages the existing extensive web ecosystem and fosters open participation and enhances device makers' freedom to innovate.
My contribution to H5OS is designing UI for smart feature phone and connected watch.

Smart Feature Phone
With the development of 4G network, the use of smartphones to surf the Internet has become more and more popular. However, traditional feature phones are still in the stage of 2G network. In order to promote the popularization of the Internet, we started to design 4G smart feature phones.
I participated in the design of the home, camera, gallery, keyboard, etc. in this project.

Architecture
All Apps
The design of the all apps is mainly based on 2x3 grid layout, so that users can see the content clearly on smaller screens. Of course, 3x3 grid layout is also designed for users who want to see more at a time.
In addition, we also provide the functions of folder and arrangement, which is convenient for users to organize the all apps.
Pinboard
Pinboard is a feature that allows users to create shortcuts. Users can pin commonly used functions, such as contacts, clock, applications, web sites, etc., to make operations faster and more convenient.
Notices / Quick Access / Recent
Notices:
Users can press the right soft key to trigger it to view recent notices.
Quick access:
Users can press the up key to trigger it and use the quick settings here. Users can also switch between recently used apps.
Recent:
Users can view a summary of recent activities when the screen wakes up.
Camera
Camera is a commonly used application in smartphones, and we have optimized it for use in the smart feature phone. Use the up and down keys to switch between camera and video, and the asterisk and pound keys to zoom in and out.
Gallery
Users can view photos sorted by date in the grid view and tag important photos.
Photo Editor
After taking a photo, users can edit it directly by using the photo editor, which has exposure, rotation, cropping, filters, and automatic adjustments.
Video
Users can view videos sorted by date in the list view with detailed video information in each item.
Keyboard
In order to overcome the slow typing problem of the smart feature phone, we have optimized the design of predicted words so that users can quickly select the appropriate word.

Connected Watch
Another project I participated in H5OS is the wearable device — Connected Watch. It can be paired with a mobile phone, and users can use basic functions on the watch without taking out the mobile phone.
I participated in the design of the pinboard, contacts, and watch face in this project.

Architecture
On level 1, users select UP key to access Settings. If users select Down key on watch face, it will trigger Notices from the bottom. Notifications are displayed here.
Users can select OK key on watch face to access level 2 - Pinboard. Pinboard shows the APPs and Pins. Users can add contact’s number as a Pin for quick access. It triggers direct actions such as direct call or alarm settings from here.
PinBoard
Pinboard is the main operation interface of the watch. By scrolling the screen in the carousel, the user can clearly see the relationship between the upper and lower applications.
Pin is a special UI for direct action. A pin displays corresponding info and users can take only one specific action from it.
Contacts
When users open the Contacts app, they can see basic information about their contacts. In addition, the pin, call and message icons on the right correspond to the Up key, the OK key and the Down key respectively, which is convenient for users to operate intuitively.
Watch Face
I designed four watch faces for this project. The style is based on the space theme, and two digital fonts are designed.
